Welcome to the Islamic Center of Tucson (ICT)
ICT, located in Tucson AZ, right next to the world known University of Arizona, is both a prayer space and a community center that is serving all Muslims of Southern Arizona and the community at large. Our community is as diverse as America itself, with people from all continents and all walks of life. Although, the history of our community traces its roots to fleeting students who attended the UA back in the sixties, it now grew to thousands of multi-generation families. Our center is open every day of the year and serves as a place of worship, place of gathering, Community events, interfatith dialogue, and a cultural hub, yet still is faithful to its roots, the students of the University of Arizona. Our center welcomes visitors of all faiths, and is open to anyone who wants to learn about our religion and our small community. Our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) instructed us clearly "Let anyone who believes in God and the Last Day be generous to his neighbor, and let anyone who believes in God and the Last Day be generous to his guest."
Currently, the center has an Imam that leads the congregagtion prayers, Friday sermon, and organizes all religious activities for the Muslim community, as well as provide information to all non-Muslim visitors. Our community is also dedicated to the larger community of Tucson and Southern Arizona and we will be happy to arrange for any one who wants to visit our center and learn about us.
 ICT is considering a new constitution. A Vote on this new constitution is set for this Friday, May 11th, 2012 (starting 7:30pm). Please consult the new consitution and compare with the old one.

The ICT is offering the larger Tucson community a free Health clinic service. To see one of our volunteer medical doctors please come to our center on the last Saturday of each month. Next Clinics are May 26th, June 30, July 28 2012.

The Islamic Center of Tucson is seeking a full time Office manager to oversee the daily affairs of the ICT Masjid, Properties, and to coordinate community activities.
